Onikiba Kusarigama

Description

A special weapon with a sharp curved blade adorning one end of the shaft, and a chain the other, at the end of which is a metal weight. Along with the sword Oninamida Muramasa, this was a favoured weapon of Hattori Hanzo. Hanzo, his father, and his son Masanari all shared the alias "Demon" Hanzo, which explains the name "Onikiba", meaning "Demon Fang". The chain can be used to catch enemies off—guard, but unlike a sword, the kusarigama is easily concealed, making it a favoured weapon of the ninja.
