A straight spear forged in the Sanjo style by Yoshihiro, a swordsmith from Yamashiro Province. The name "Kamedoshi" is a reference to when Sakai Tadatsugu, one of the four great Tokugawa commanders, used this spear to kill an enemy who was hiding in a water barrel—"kame" refers to the barrel, "doshi" means to pierce or pass through.
