A hero's kabuto helm. Part of a traditional armour set known as Tosei—gusoku in Japanese. Features a tri—plate "shikoro" for neck protection. Everything from the eyes down is protected by a mask called a "menpo." The helm lacks a tall ornament, but there is a tassel on the back.
A hero's breastplate. Formed from thick sheets of iron plate rolled to conform to the body. The front and back halves are closed with cord. A scaled throat guard and large shoulder protectors enhance protection. So heavy that only the fittest, most experienced warriors are capable of wearing it.
A hero's gauntlets. Part of a traditional armour set known as Tosei—gusoku in Japanese. A combination of sturdy chainmail and plate protecting the forearms and hands. One hand's fingers are left exposed for easier weapon handling.
A hero's waist and thigh protection. Part of a traditional armour set known as Tosei—gusoku in Japanese. Iron plate covered with red cord that is wound around the waist. Beneath the plate hangs chainmail for further protection.
A hero's greaves. Part of a traditional armour set known as Tosei—gusoku in Japanese. Moulded in a complex shape designed to fit the body's curves, yet its well—designed fittings make it easy to remove. The bottom half is strengthened with chainmail for further protection, and secured with cords.

This set can be obtain in multiple ways, it can be smithed, looted from ennemies or from revenants.

The Hero set, Warrior set and the Obsidian/Dark Samurai set all share the same armour model with a different color palette, Hero is mainly blue, Warrior is black and green and Obsidian/Dark is red and black.
